CLEANING AND SANIFICATION
The Butterfly Hotels offer the utmost rigor on all cleaning and sanitizing procedures, to protect our customer from any biological and microbiological contaminant.
Following the COVID19 health emergency, we have further implemented the sanitation procedures by carrying out:
DAILY sanitization of all surfaces using alcohol-based products with high concentration or sodium hypochlorite based products, depending on the surface to be treated,
airing of all rooms at regular daily intervals, cleaning of all air conditioning filters, using special sanitizing products.
In addition to this, we have decided, precisely to better protect our customers and workers,
to carry out the DAILY disinfection of environments through OZONE, one of the most powerful natural disinfectants.
Ozone is the most powerful disinfectant currently known, it easily reaches the most hidden points by eliminating up to 99.98% of impurities, and thanks to its high oxidizing and sanitizing power, it can inactivate any pathogen, virus, mold in a very short time. , fungi and allergens.
SANITATION POLICY
Our structure has decided to equip itself with state-of-the-art equipment and to insert meticulous procedures, such as DAILY SANITIZATION THROUGH OZONE, so that all the rooms of the Hotel Butterfly are completely sanitized at each CHECK IN. How does the ozone treatment work?

HOW DOES OZONE TREATMENT WORK?
Every day in the suites and in the structure, once the cleaning procedure is finished, we meticulously carry out all the sanitation procedures indicated by the regional directive n.48 of 03/05/2020: sanitizing of all surfaces using alcohol-based products (not less than 70% concentration) or sodium hypochlorite based products, depending on the surface to be treated, airing of all rooms at regular daily intervals, cleaning of all air conditioning filters, using special sanitizing products. To protect customers and workers as much as possible, we also perform the sanitization of the environment using OZONE daily and before each CHECK IN, so residual as to eliminate any possible contaminating element from the air, from surfaces, from air. conditioning etc ..
This is possible because we have equipped each suite with its own OZONATOR, in order to achieve the ozone saturation in the environment necessary for the sterilization of the entire room in less than 30 minutes.
WHAT IS OZONE?
Ozone is a highly unstable natural gas, composed of trivalent oxygen (O3) with a great oxidizing power. In nature it is formed thanks to electrical discharges during thunderstorms or thanks to the action of ultraviolet solar rays.
OZONE PROPERTIES
The possibility of using ozone for cleaning and sanitizing objects and environments derives from its high oxidizing power. Ozone is in fact able to degrade and eliminate any polluting or harmful element such as viruses, mites, insects, spores, molds, harmful chemicals and even smoke and odors, all in a totally natural way.
Being an unstable gas, a few minutes after use, the ozone transforms into oxygen, without leaving any type of trace or chemical residues.
HOW DOES IT WORK
As soon as ozone encounters organic matter, an oxidation reaction is triggered. In essence, all living microorganisms are killed, such as mites, bacteria, viruses, molds and fungi.
Since ozone is a gas heavier than air, it is able to penetrate inside the fibers of the fabrics (mattresses, sofas, armchairs, rugs, carpets, etc.). In this way it reaches and eliminates every microorganism and substance present even in the most difficult to reach points, impossible to thoroughly sanitize with a classic washing, however meticulous and accurate.

Numerous studies, state that disinfection and sanitation using ozone is over 2000 times more effective than any type of traditional sanitation.
The ozone sanitization system is a completely ecological cleaning method, leaving no chemical residue behind, and has been defined as a safe agent “GRAS” by the F.D.A, the US Food and Drug Administration.
In Italy, the Ministry of Health, with protocol No. 24482 of 31/07/1996, recognized the ozone sanitation system as a natural safeguard for the sterilization of environments contaminated by bacteria, viruses, spores and infested with mites and insects.
